mindscape momento encaustic work in MPO

Mindscape Momento' by Michael Bossom was created using Master Paste Original, also know as MPO for short. The encaustic painting is 656mm x 404mm and this video shows how it was built up as well as how to approach mixing and using MPO with pigment colours or oils paints.

The fusing process is also shown, so you can get some insight from Michael Bossom as he follows a spontaneous creative process using Master Paste. The MPO was created by artist Antonin Sedlacik from Canada.

Thanks for posting.  Like the idea of low heat and the thinness/filler of lines.  Would like to see your technique that shows the latter.

A very valuable vid for those who want to try the MPO. Also shows what a great asset this is for Encaustic en how easy it is to use it.
Love the painting, enjoyed to see the process of layers added.
