It would be great if everyone could add size, instruments used when showing their pictures. Then I and others could understand how the picture was produced. Does anyone else think that would be a good idea ?

Thanks everyone for your`e ideas and comments.I know on previous photos I haven`t always added info regarding instruments. But there are a few pictures on the the website that would be nice to see how and what was used to understand the depth of their picture

A good point Jill.

Dimensions and tools used would be lovely to know and very helpful in understanding the "how"

Yes, it is helpfully for theimagination,  communication and understanding of intention and ways of creating. And else - if anybody uploads painting by other painters/authors (for example from his/her gallery or collection), please  give this info for the viewers. :-)

Jill,

I think that is a great idea...I usually do mention size and materials used as I do enjoy sharing my techniques with others.  Hope other members take your advice.  Terry

Hi Jill

I like to know the size of a painting when looking at them, its very relative I feel and helps me see more as I know the the depth and dimensions, I often ask an artist if I'm unsure and would like to know.

So I agree, a good idea if it could be added as an option maybe?

Good point Jill , some times I'm very hesitant and having all "motors" running to get this info about created piece !

I say > it's very helpful to navigate viewer  inside a painting especially some of them !

Have a good weekend
