Hi Cynthia, Wrexham station should be the easiest as you won't have to change from there,i can pick you up at Ruabon on your incoming journey, hope this helps.

Hi John & all, I can get a train to either station, but would prefer one with no changes.  Rather than an early start  on Saturday, I would arrive on Friday at Ruabon at 16.55 or Wrexham at 17.01, and leave on Sunday from Wrexham at 15.48 or Ruabon at 15.55.   Would either of those suit you, and could they fit iin with anyone else? I don't mind waiting at a station on either journey if that would help.

Yes it would be good to know how many will be there. I still hope to come and have booked a room at the B & B. I will probably travel to Wrexham on the Friday afternoon, and Hope John will be able to meet me.

John and all - this is very helpful!!! been trying to plan the trip from America online and all a bit fuzzy - but think I have a plan now ...will most likely come in on saturday evening and be there sunday all day.

Don't worry, we are all coming to share ideas experience does not matter, it will be a time to relax and have fun , all you need to bring is some equipment with you , wax , card etc, i have a couple of spare hotplates, thanks for asking . John

this is what I need to know too. What is expected of us, what do we need to bring and is everybody more experienced than I am. having needed time out, I'm back to basics again and trying to rebuild confidence in many areas

Hi Jill, the nearest train station is Ruabon, the other one is wrexham, they are about fifteen miles from Carrog, hopefully i can pick people up from these stations , it all depends on arrival times but I'm sure i can get round it.

The village hall is in the middle of the village , it does not have an address, the cottage B+Bis just across the road. Carrog is about 6 miles from Llangollen on the A5, sorry about losing touch but could not find the forum thread, if any problems for anyone let me know byPM, I'm looking forward to seeing you all, have a great weekend.  John
