i think this may be my absolute favorite , but then i am partial to the sea . The light on the water is rendered so tenderly - even as the sea churns violently. What a push-pull you have going on there . A wonderful , psychological piece underneath this sea .

SO GOOD THAT THE LAST TWO ALMOST APPEAR TO HAVE A SHELLAC BURN, OR I SAY ACTUALLY THEY DO APPEAR AS IF THEY HAVE A SHELLACK BURN. BOOKS SVP.

You make water come to life.  It's challenging enough to paint water convincingly with oil paint but to do it this way with wax is unbelievable.

Dear Frithjof!
The sea has always been a symbol for a man of unlimited freedom of mind and opportunities.
And despite the fact that the elements of the sea threaten humandisaster, the boat is sinking, I still look with admiration at thisraging element! You are wonderfully great unknown force, entailingenergy - feel a part of the universe, boundless as the sea and at the same time unique and very fragile! Sincerely, Jeanne.

You are a virtuos! The splashes and the foaming waves are so realistic. Master-like!
